Pulsating Gondola Lift

The mono-cable pulsating ropeway uses fixed grips; several groups of gondolas run in grouped formations, creating an operating pattern of high speed on the line and low-speed pulsating start/stop in the station (stopping for boarding and alighting, with cycling between groups). It is positioned to balance transport capacity and construction cost, with good line adaptability and lower cost, suited to small and medium-sized scenic areas and short-distance shuttle scenarios.

This category comprises three sub-categories. The pulsating gondola uses fully enclosed gondolas, suitable for rainy and windy regions, with a speed of 3.0–5.0 m/s and a capacity of 400–500 persons per hour; gondola capacities are 4/6/8 persons, and line applications with an elevation difference of up to 700 m and a horizontal distance of up to 2,400 m have been achieved. The pulsating chair/cable-car serves low-cost short-distance sightseeing with open views, with a speed of 3.0–4.0 m/s and a capacity of 350–480 persons per hour, capacities of 2/4 persons. The export pulsating ropeway is used to meet non-standard requirements of overseas markets, with a maximum speed of 5.0 m/s, and applications with a horizontal distance of over 2,000 m and an elevation difference of nearly 500 m have been achieved.
